Our Organization

Hildebrand Healthcare Consulting (HHC) was formed to answer the need for training and education in Quality, Patient Safety, and regulatory/accreditation issues. 

While the field of Quality is not new, there are relatively few formal training sources, and many professionals are learning their skills on the job.  Even seasoned professionals benefit from refresher courses and the chance to network with others in their region.  HHC provides those training and networking opportunities with the benefit of earning continuing education contact hours.

Who We Are

Patricia (Pati) A Cacolice Hildebrand, RN, MSN, CCS-P, CPHQ

With over 30+ years in nursing and 11 years in quality improvement and patient safety , Pati brings a richness of expertise to her role as quality improvement consultant.  Drawing on her hospital nurse training as well as her ambulatory, occupational and outpatient  nurse practitioner experience, Pati is able to bridge the gap from consumer to provider, from hospital staff to physician and from administrator to regulatory agency.  She holds a Masters degree from West Virginia University as well as CPHQ certification in healthcare quality and a CCS-P certification in clinical coding.

Pati holds several prominent positions within her profession:

* Board member for the Texas Gulf Coast Association for Healthcare Quality

* Professional and Technical Advisory Committee for the National Association for Healthcare Quality

* Editorial Panel for the Journal of Healthcare Quality. 

* Texas Award for Performance Excellence (TAPE) examiner - state level Baldrige examiner for Quality Texas Foundation. 

* Steering Committee on Healthcare Associated Infections for the National Quality Forum. 

Pati specializes in providing on site or remote organizational assessment and performance improvement for patient safety, quality and accreditation issues as well as educational design for smaller hospitals,  healthcare facilities and practices.

Who We Are

Michael E. Hildebrand, MD, MBA

With over 30+ years in medicine and 20+ years in healthcare administration, Dr. Hildebrand approaches Quality of care and patient safety with his eye toward excellence and his heart for the patients and their families.  Having seen both the triumphs and the failures of traditional healthcare, he feels one of his greatest successes was to chose to "break from the pack" and open a very successful chronic pain practice that integrated alternative healthcare modalities with the more traditional invasive healthcare technologies. 

Dr. Hildebrand has also held several medical director positions in both private and not-for-profit organizations.  In addition to his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, he was awarded an MBA degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and has formal training and Microsoft certifications in Information Technology.  In addition, he gives back to his community with donating his time in adult literacy activities.

Dr. Hildebrand specializes in activities involving physician engagement in quality and patient safety issues as well as Informational technology issues in healthcare.
